Well i was reading times of india few days back and i came across an article titled "10 technological discovery that will change our lives in future" and the interesting thing i noted that almost all the invention was in USA. This is very normal as most of us have expected it to be certainly true, but after having a deep thought into it i realised this is more than just a news. I asked my self how come america became so developed that other countries are like generations back in technology and i got the answer.....
USA is what we know today has risen to the world power in tehnology out of fear and competion. USA was just another coutry like canada australia etc till 1920s...it was such that USA didnt have an airforce of its own when the french, the germans, the british were fighting dog fights in the 1st world war. It all started with fear of invasion, war in world war 2.....america was attacked in pearl harbour in 1941....the fear of being overcomed by the germans prompted Rooservelt to start the manhattan project(Atom Bomb),although americans tested 1st atom bomb in 1941....now there was an industrial revolution in US, almost every citizen contributed in war....it led to the development of ENIAC in 1945(although it was not used in the war)....it also led to the formation of Pentagon, companies like northrup grumman were formed....that was way ahead of any other country at that time....then came the cold war.....
The industial revolution, space development, defence research in USSR dwarfed the american technological edge in early 1960s to such extent that a study found that whole american airforce could be wiped in 3 days in direct conflict...such was the fear that led pentagon to start projects that would change the course of history....
1st was ARPANET from DOD(Department of Defence), then came GPS from DARPA(Defence adavnce research project agency) then was ATF( Advanced tactical fighter)...then stealth technology.....such was the developmet that USA developed 5th generation fighter plane in 1991 when the whole world was using 3rd generation planes....There was revolution in IT,electronics,cars....that led to formation of Cisco,Microsoft,SUN,Apple,Intel,Google...etc..frankly speaking in one way these companies control the world....this thing would not have been achieved without the sense of competitiveness and passion to reach the top....
There technological advancement has created such myth that some people feels that US never reached moon in 1969....i feel that is the greatest compliment to there advencement because their technology is myth to others....

Educate India
Hello people.....i am back again after so many months, well Happy new year to everyone.
For the past few months i have been examining the higher education system of USA and comparing it with Indian higher education. A common layman who doesn't have any information about US education certainly believes that US education system produces idiots who are not only weak in mathematics and other subjects, but also waste there life in drug abuse, fights etc. But the hard fact is that even we Indians are no better.
I certainly believe that Indians students are more intellectual and hard working(after Russians) than Americans, but we Indians don't utilize our potential. I myself asked a question that if Americans are so dumb then how come they still have the best political, economic, social system in the world. The answer is our India doesn't work on quality but quantity. "There 10 Harvard graduates are capable of doing the job of 50 IAS officers". There education system allows students to choose career CONFIDENTLY without PRESSURE varying from a vulcanologist to entomologist. The selected few students who makes into administration are the true backbone of that country who have a zeal and passion to administrate from childhood. Take the example of Barack Obama, he is 44 and a true eligible candidate to lead a country. In India we guys don't even think of entering into politics because it has become dirty. In US its just the opposite. I read our Rahul Gandhi wants youth of India to participate in politics as he feels that we just complain about our pathetic system and don't even care to make it good. Unless we work for our self no single leader or party can make India a power.
So to make this happen our very own education system has to be overlooked "which is based on one's competitiveness and not capability!!! If i start to write about quota system and other demerits then it will take another blog to complete.I just want to show a stat that IITK has a campus of 1300 acres which is 4 times my college....still there are less than 40 students in CS department of that college in an academic year. Now how does India thinks of achieving greatness with this selectivity!!!
